The chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), met on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, with the Speaker of the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), Carlos René Hernández, who is currently visiting Morocco at the head of a large delegation.

In a statement released Tuesday by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs following a meeting between the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, and Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, France reaffirmed its "unwavering" position on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara.

The Sultanate of Oman voiced, on Sunday, its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco over its entire national territory, expressing its deep appreciation for the wisdom of the Moroccan leadership, which is committed to a peaceful solution in the service of security and stability in the Maghreb region.

By reaffirming the recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara, in confirmation of the position communicated by President Donald Trump to HM King Mohammed VI, the United States upholds "the consistency" of its stance, while hailing Morocco’s role in peace and prosperity under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, U.S. Congressman Mario Díaz-Balart declared.

During a meeting on Tuesday in Washington between Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the latter reiterated that “the United States recognizes Moroccan sovereignty over [the] Sahara.”
